July 20, 2010: The July 2010 Grounds Committee Newsletter has been added to the members only area. . March 1, 2010: The March issue of the Greenbriar Landscape Newsletter has been added to the members only area. . November 6, 2009: The November 3rd Meeting Minutes and adopted 2010 Operating Budget have been posted to the Members Only area of the website. The meeting was very productive and a Violations Committee and Grounds Committee were established. . September 28, 2009: There are several washout areas in the ditches of the county right of way and at the entrance near the playground. Manatee County has reviewed this and they plan to make the necessary repairs the middle of October. . July 20,2009: Unfortunately it has become necessary to change the grounds maintenance company. Beginning August 1st, Greenbriar Landscape of Parrish will be the new company. We look forward to Greenbriar working in FoxBrook. . January 15,2009: The new grounds maintenance company will begin the week of January 19th, 2009. US Lawns is a national company with local service providers. We have worked with the Bradenton/Sarasota representatives for several years and they have provided excellent service to some of our other community clients. We welcome US Lawns and believe the community will be very pleased with their work. Thier website is www.uslawns.com. January 9,2009: The borrow pit law suit continues. The judge is reviewing the filings of all the parties but has not yet rendered a decision. . August 27, 2008: The borrow pit law suit was filed this afternoon. Many owners have contacted us to contribute funds toward the legal fees. We are mailing all owners a contribution form with a return envelope for everyone's convenience. The actual law suit is available to read in the Members Only area. . August 8, 2008: All owners are reminded that the drainage ditch in the front of their lot along the County street is the County's responsibility to mow and maintain. Since this is only done twice a year by the County, all owners are asked to keep the ditch area mowed as needed. Based on the FoxBrook Declaration, owners are responsible to mow the swale between lots. Even when there is an easement to the association on or along the swale, it is still the owners responsibility to mow the easement and swale. Thanks! . August 7, 2008: Special Assessment Coupons Begin Arriving Today. The $200.00 payment will be due September 15th, 2008 and considered delinquent on September 30th, 2008. The funds are primarily needed to pay for legal and consulting expenses, and a small amount to fund current year budget obligations not funded due to foreclosed homes and or bankruptcies. Fortunately, FoxBrook is fairing much better than most homeowner associations. The Special Assessment unanimously passed at the July 28, 2008 meeting.
