After attending Manatee Community College and University of Florida, Chris pursued a career in public service. For nearly twenty years Chris was the Director of the Manatee County Auto Registration Offices and led the team that developed what became the state wide computer network for on-line real time vehicle registration and license plate renewals. Chris was an early CAM license holder when the program began and has gone on to be awarded the highest designation of PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager). A past member of the State of Florida Regulatory Council, Chris was originally appointed by Governor Bush and again appointed by Governor Crist, serving seven of the eight years as the Chair of the seven member Regulatory Council. Chris served as an expert witness/consultant for fifteen years for the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
Leaving a career as the assistant to the Controller of the Bradenton Herald, Sherie began a new career in community association management. An early CAM license holder, Sherie started the community association management company from her condominium dining room in the mid 1980s. In 1990, Chris joined Sherie in the association management profession and the company incorporated. Sherie has been awarded the CMCA and AMS designations and is continuing her education to become a PCAM.
Jessica began with C&S while attending college and went on to graduate from USF with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration as well as a second bachelor's degree in accounting. A Licensed Community Association Manager, Jessica is also nationally Board Certified by the National Board Certification of Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM) and has been awarded the CMCA designation. Jessica has been awarded the AMS designation from the Community Associations Institute and has also received the highest designation of Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM).
Ellen is a graduate from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Ellen worked part time at C&S as a teenager and then become a fulltime Community Association Manager. In addition to being a Licensed Community Association Manager, Ellen is nationally Board Certified by the National Board Certification of Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM) and has been awarded the CMCA designation. Ellen also been awarded the AMS designation from the Community Associations Institute and has also received the highest designation of Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM).
Director of Operations
Janet joined C&S in 2014. A licensed CAM, CMCA and AMS, Janet is currently working toward her PCAM designation along with qualifying to teach the Board Certification class to newly elected/appointed Board Members. Her position with C&S ranges from staff training to association management and project coordination. Janet is married to her high school sweetheart and together, they have five adult children.
Lisa was born and raised in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Penn State, Lisa began a successful retail career beginning as a buyer for Kauffman's in Pittsburgh and finally migrated to Florida where she was the Director of Store Management for Mark, Fore and Strike. Wanting to change from the retail business but still work with people on daily basis, Lisa became a CAM. Joining C&S in 2008, Lisa is passionate about her communities and believes that communication is a main factor to successful association management.
Julie was born and raised in Muncie Indiana and attended Ball State University. Julie pursued a career in retail and for 14 years was in charge of accounts receivable and training coordination for Albertsons. Julie has been with C&S since 2002 and is continuing her education toward higher designations.
Betsy was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida. After graduating from Florida State University, Betsy began a successful 18 year administrative/management career at Tropicana Products. Betsy is a 2011 Leadership Manatee graduate focusing leadership knowledge and skills for the long-term benefit of this community. Betsy is very passionate about animal rescue and volunteer’s her time for several different local organizations. Betsy received her CAM license in 2015 and looks forward to advancing her community management career by continuously educating herself and evolving in order to meet the demands of this dynamic profession.
Joining C&S in 2009, Andrea brings to her work five years of prior first-hand experience in condominium operations, having served in all capacities on her condominium association’s Board of Directors from 2003 – 2008. Additionally, Andrea served as Chair of her condominium association’s Document Rewrite Committee in 2002 – 2003. In addition to her direct experience with Florida community association board operations, Andrea volunteered in the administration of various community organizations.
Colleen was born and raised right here in Bradenton, FL. She attended Manatee Community College where she received her AA Degree. From there she went on to the University of South Florida, graduating in 2012 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. Colleen has been with C&S since early 2013.
Judi was born and raised in Western New York. She worked 20 years with Delta Development of WNY, Inc., leaving as a senior property manager. Judi has an associate degree in Legal studies from Niagara County Community College. She obtained her BBA in 2005, and an MBA in 2016 from Medaille College in Buffalo. After moving to Florida in 2016, she obtained her CAM license. Last but certainly not least, Judi has a beautiful daughter, a wonderful step son and 2 "woof" "dogters"!
Raised in Minnesota, Shana relocated to Florida in 2005. Shana has a degree from Brown in Business Management and is pursuing higher designations in the community association management profession. Shana enjoys the outdoors especially the beach, kayaking and spending time with her family.
Kerry is originally from Akron, Ohio. She moved to Florida fifteen years ago to escape the winters. Kerry started working at a condominium resort on Longboat Key but moved on to a position with Beall’s Corporate Offices. Kerry found her way back to community association management and joined C&S in 2013 and is continuing her education in community association management to attain higher designations.
Rosemarie (Rosie) joined the C&S team in 2017. By using her past experiences, combined with a desire to learn, Rosie quickly earned her license as a CAM. A positive attitude, and motivation driven, she is already looking for future licensing opportunities in community management to advance her career. Rosie has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Kaplan University. She is energetic, dedicated, and loyal with a strong work ethic. Rosie is a self-taught couponer, and likes to share this skill. She also likes watching the sunset at the beach, spending time with her husband, daughters and two doggies, as well as taking on DIY projects.
Jenifer is a graduate from Full Sail University with a Masters of Entertainment Business Sports Management. She also received a Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida. Prior to C&S, she worked as a litigation paralegal in complex commercial construction law and later transitioned to Ethics & Compliance for one of the Big Four accounting firms. Jenifer is a Licensed Community Association Manager and is looking forward to obtaining additional designations in community association management.
Laura is originally from Norwich, CT. and has been a successful Realtor/ Property Manager for eleven years. She attributes her success to communication. Laura is excited to be continuing her education in Community Association Management and obtaining higher designations. Laura’s hobbies include spending time with family, veganism, animal rescue, and continuing education.
Now living in Parrish, Dana was born and raised in Sarasota County. A licensed Community Association Manager, Dana is the assistant to the President of C&S and she manages a few select communities. At home Dana spends time with her two dogs that she loves very much. She visits with family often and spends a lot of time at Disney World. Dana will love to tell you how she is obsessed with all things Disney! Dana is continuing her education and is pursuing her CMCA designation.
Born and raised in Michigan, Andrea relocated to Florida for the warm weather. Much of Andrea’s career was spent in restaurant management because she enjoys working with people. Seven years ago Andrea decided to make a change to the Community Association Management field to still work and assist people. Andrea is excited to continue her education and obtain higher designations in Community Association Management.
